Yoga Classes at 1919 Fairway Drive (Upstairs), Bozeman, MT 59715
Massage & yoga private lessons, 2100 Fairway Drive, Rm 107
Yoga uses the tools of body, breath, and mind to relieve the physical and mental stresses of the day. No two students are alike. In class, I invite you to move into classic yoga poses while routinely offering modifications that allow those of us with restrictions to get the benefit of classic poses in a way that is more appropriate for our current physical capacity. Typical classes contain a broad range of students, from beginners to veterans. I've taught for over 20 years, and love it when I hear a student say, "I couldn't do that before!"
Generally, classes are Monday, Wednesday & Thursday at noon.

Massage can offer many health benefits that compliment the improvements brought about by doing yoga. I began doing massage in 2008 and have continued my education with Paola Feher at the Bozeman Center for the Healing Arts, John Barnes in myofascial release, Sharron Wheeler for ScarWork and Bonework, and multiple teachers of CranioSacral therapy. This combination of techniques lets me provide focused massage for your benefit.
A Bit about Carol's Yoga and Massage Journeys
Yoga
I began teaching in 2002 and since have taught over 4,000 hours of classes, earning Yoga Alliance's designation E-RYT-500, which simply means "experienced - registered yoga teacher."
My yoga education began in 1998 with Paola Feher, founder of Bozeman Center for the Healing Arts, and I continue to learn from her. I also have taken yoga intensives elsewhere, including at Duke University on yoga for seniors, with Elise Browning-Miller and Loren Fishman, MD relating to scoliosis, with Dr. Fishman regarding osteoporosis, and with other authorities, including TKV Desikachar. I have a personal interest in yoga breathing techniques to benefit people with asthma.
I am convinced that a combination of yoga and intentional breathing can reduce symptoms often attributed to aging and many other conditions.
Massage
I began doing massage in 2008 and have continued my education with Paola Feher, John Barnes in myofascial release, Sharron Wheeler for ScarWork and BoneWork, and multiple teachers of CranioSacral therapy. This combination of techniques lets me provide focused massage for your benefit.
In addition
In 2024, I completed work as a “fascia fitness trainer” with various teachers from the United States and Europe, which I did to keep myself aware of the latest research applying movement to health for clients, students (and myself).
Be well,
Carol Flaherty, MS, LMT, E-RYT-500, FFT
