Oakstone Medical Publishing
reviewed this article and said the "take-home pearl" is that "recreational
physical activity, eg, fast walking, bicycling, or yoga, for as little
as 3 hours per week following a diagnosis of breast cancer reduces risk
of death by two thirds. Under "results" Oakstone added, "Women with higher-stage
breast cancers and those with hormone-receptor-positive tumors appeared
to derive more benefit from physical activity."
